SWIRL Cafe & Bakery at the Grove in Frisco Texas
One of my recent murals in Frisco Texas at the Grove. One thing I can tell you, is painting on brick is not easy and a lot of artists won’t even touch a brick wall because of the dificulty painting it. You have to adjust lines when painting so that your image is seen at all angles and you can pretty much kiss painters tape goodbye when painting on brick. The quickest, most efficient way is to hand draw, then paint. I copied their logo exactly and used BEHR outdoor / exterior paint. I did not seal the project at all because of the exterior paint, it’s just not needed. I also did a scratch and water test, nope not coming off! The clients and their designer were extremely happy and the customers loved it as well. So if your in the neighborhood of Frisco Texas, look them up and stop by. Quaint, delicious, and charming as well!
