One of their newest locations in Fort Worth Texas, this breakfast joint is very good. They have a simple modern decor, which called for the same in artwork. Kevin the owner had a vision of a large train with the Fort Worth stock show and rodeo incorporated in it. I suggested a black and white line drawing theme and I was to make it as large as possible. I believe it ended up being around 23 feet long and about 6 feet for the height. I drew him up a sample first, he loved it, so we went for it! It came out amazing and a real show stopper! If your ever in Fort Worth, check it out, and tag me on Instagram with a pic!
I’ve known Gail (AFK Furniture) for over 20 years and we’ve worked together on numerous projects, including her beautiful horses. Ink is the real black horse to the left and I painted her retired horse John Paul on the right. The entire door is hand painted, including the hanging halter, mouse hole, horse shoes, white slatted door, and everything in between. I can say horses challenge me and so does Gail! I love her!
